🎓 A university project

Deck & Domain is my Final Degree Project in Software Engineering at the University of Seville. It's free, has no ads and doesn't collect any data automatically.

What I'm after is your feedback. After playing, please fill in a short anonymous survey (about 6 minutes). The answers will be used in my thesis to evaluate the player experience: whether the rules are clear, whether matches are fun, and what you thought of your opponent.

📋 Take the survey

If you quit halfway through, your feedback is just as useful, maybe more. The pause menu (Escape key) and the end-of-game screen both have a "Send feedback" button that opens the survey and gives you a summary of your game to paste into it. The summary includes the map seed, so I can reproduce your exact game.

The game

Pick one of three empires, each with its own strengths, and compete against an AI opponent for control of a randomly generated hex map. Manage gold, food and troops, construct buildings, play cards from your deck and open battle fronts to conquer tiles.

Control 70% of the map or eliminate your rival to win.

Installation

Download Deck & Domain.exe and run it; no installation needed. The executable isn't signed, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC": click More info → Run anyway.

🎓 Un Trabajo Fin de Grado

Deck & Domain es el proyecto de mi Trabajo Fin de Grado en el Grado en Ingeniería Informática – Ingeniería del Software de la Universidad de Sevilla. Es gratis, no tiene anuncios y no recoge ningún dato de forma automática.

Lo que busco es tu opinión. Después de jugar, te pido que rellenes una encuesta corta y anónima (unos 6 minutos). Las respuestas se usarán en la memoria del TFG para evaluar la experiencia de juego: si las reglas se entienden, si las partidas son divertidas y qué te pareció el rival.

📋 Rellenar la encuesta

Si dejas la partida a medias, tu opinión me sirve igual, o más. Desde el menú de pausa (tecla Escape) o al terminar la partida tienes el botón «Enviar comentarios», que abre la encuesta y te da un resumen de tu partida para pegarlo en ella. Ese resumen incluye la semilla del mapa, así puedo reproducir tu partida exacta.

El juego

Elige uno de los tres imperios, cada uno con sus propias ventajas, y compite contra un rival controlado por la IA por el dominio de un mapa hexagonal generado al azar. Gestiona oro, comida y tropas, construye edificios, juega las cartas de tu mazo y abre frentes de batalla para conquistar casillas.

Gana quien controle el 70 % del mapa o elimine al rival.

Instalación

Descarga Deck & Domain.exe y ejecútalo; no necesita instalación. Como el ejecutable no está firmado, Windows puede mostrar el aviso «Windows protegió su PC»: pulsa Más información → Ejecutar de todas formas.
